I am an industrial ventilation consultant with 40 years of industrial experience. I am a mechanical engineer and have earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa. I am a registered professional engineer in the states of Minnesota, California, Florida, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, and Utah.
My career started as a research and development engineer at Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, New York. During that time, I researched and developed advanced HVAC combustion systems and received two US patents pertaining to the development of advanced HVAC heating products.
Over the past 35 years, my professional career has focused on environmental air quality, industrial hygiene, and industrial ventilation engineering projects. During this time, I became a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) in the wide range of areas that this certification encompasses. My expertise is working with industrial clients and developing solutions for achieving compliance with workplace exposures and environmental air emission limits.
I have a proven track record of engineering excellence and innovation in the following areas relating to industrial ventilation systems:
· Completing feasibility studies
· Detailed design
· Starting up and commissioning
· Testing and balancing
· Troubleshooting and system improvements
· Professional training courses
I have recently retired from the corporate world and have started my own ventilation engineering consulting business in Minneapolis, MN. My mission is to offer my services to industrial clients who need high quality ventilation work that is done proficiently and correctly the first time and that is in line with the client’s goals and objectives
